John Narvaez and Liz Rojas are world-class Salsa dance artists recognized as one of the most accomplished competitive Salsa dance couples in the world. John and Liz are known and commended for their hypnotic performances marked by high levels of grace, speed and technical difficulty. They are equally acknowledged worldwide for their ability to provide fresh, accessible and entertaining salsa dance instruction at the social dance level. Both have created a very realistic view of the world standards when it comes to salsa and have opened a window for many to see what is it we all need to strive for in this art form.

As a powerful force in the industry, Jhon Narvaez and Liz Rojas have taken themselves along with their dance company to the top of the world's competitive Mambo/Salsa dance scene by ranking in the top 3 both on the "2" couoples division as well as the team division at the ESPN World Salsa Championships. They have also lead their dance teams to numerous victories in the San Francisco Bay Area's Team Dance Competition over the past 6 years.

They are the founders and directors of the San Francisco area Salsamania Dance Company, which was formed in 2000. Their dance company consists of three levels of performing teams , Salsamania Professional, Son De Mania semi-professional, and Projecto Mania amateur, as well as numerous training teams.

Whether you are a beginner just looking to learn the basics, or an intermediate to advanced salsa addict, John and Liz will help you build a solid foundation for your total salsa dance enjoyment!

Liz Rojas

Also born and raised in Colombia, Liz is known for her unique extensive styling repertoire and is one of the top female instructors and artist in the world salsa community. These are her humbling words after 10 years of dancing: "Salsa fills your soul with fire that lets you express yourself on the dance floor with freestyle and vigor. I love to pass down the knowledge and the passion which I have for this wonderful art.
My best experiences so far have been associated with my dance group members - to watch them perform and shine on the dance floor and to witness the amazing improvement that they have shown since the time they've joined our salsa family.
